Weather pattern has remained the same... but stable weather ahead

BC is still under the influence of the upper low, and the Central Interior will continue to get a cool easterly flow aloft kicking up showers and the risk of thundershowers this afternoon.  In fact the position of the low has remained almost unchanged in the last 24 hours.  There are also a few clouds and isolated showers for the southern interior to start off the day but expect some sunny breaks later - although these breaks could trigger convective showers or thunderstorms. The low will finally move and track to the east – as a result the air mass will stabilize over the next few days, and the weekend looks drier and warmer for most areas across the province.
