As the upper level disturbance that helped trigger thunderstorms yesterday for the Southern Interior tracks further east it will take will take the cool air instability and winds with it, making way for more stable sunny conditions into the weekend. However, the residual surface moisture left from yesterday's storms will be convectively lifted with daytime sun / heating this afternoon and may feed some isolated convective rain / non severe thunder showers this afternoon in the South East.
Further north in the Fort Nelson / BC Peace regions, Severe Thunderstorm watches are in place today. A Northwesterly Flow aloft (never trust a NWly Flow) will tap into some cool air / moisture and be the trigger for Thunderstorms, potentially more severe in nature, for those regions today.
Into the weekend, a Northwesterly Flow will continue to plague the North, while the trend for the Southwill be sunny & warm conditions, courtesy of a polite ridge and a drier feed of air.
