Really not much change in the Interior Forecast from yesterday...
The north is directly under the crest of an Upper Ridge. As a result, the movement of an Upper Low off the Coastal NW will continue to be confined and directed over your area, while the south will continue to see sunny & hot conditions.
Expect cloud with sunny breaks and the possibility of afternoon Thundershowers again for the North East. Overnight lows have cooled to the dewpoint in some areas so expect morning fog until temperatures warm up a couple of degrees.
Water Vapour imagery highlights moisture moving in around that Upper Low. Some of that moisture will be blocked by the Rockies and forced South East, so expect afternoon cloud over areas like Revelstoke and Cranbrook. Cooler air is trying to move south around the back side of that system, but until the ridge breaks down Friday night into Saturday, it won't be able to migrate southward.
Still anticipating a shift from these hot temperatures in the south to cooler conditions after Saturday with the passing of a "dry" Cold Front.
