Calmer weather for Southern Interior.. but the Northern Interior will once again see the threat of thundershowers, and even possibly severe storms. Severe weather watches are in effect.
An upper ridge remains in place over the next few days over the Southern half of the province - this will help stabilize the Southern Interior and and keep afternoon highs into the low 30's. However as this ridge shifts east late Thursday and Friday - more cloud and the chance of showers will be expected to end off the work week.
The upper low that was off the BC South coast has weakened but it continues to help bring moisture to the BC North Interior, contributing to the development of thunderstorms for that region. Another upper low is now also moving closer to BC from the Pacific and will be over the Central coast by the end of the work week, keeping unsettled conditions in the forecast.
