Burns Lake dipped slightly below 0C last night and Merritt got down to 4.7C. Chilly stuff. We will bounce back today throughout most of the interior and by Wednesday temps in the southern half of the province will be a few degrees above normal again.
Drier air ( less cloud) will be the name of the game today and into Wednesday as a weak ridge begins to bend our zonal flow northward, allowing for some warmer air to push up into southern BC mid week.
Ridge will quickly track eastward by Friday, so expect some showers and slightly cooler temperatures to return by week's end.
