A nice polite rain is moving through the southern interior this morning. We're still under the influence of that persistent Upper Trough off the coast of BC, however the trend will be towards some dryer & warmer conditions by mid-week.
Our cool / moist SW flow will persist until a broad Upper High over the Central US begins to to push north up through Southern BC by late Tuesday into Wednesday. That should provide a stabilizing influence to our weather patterns and open the door to some warmer (but not hot) air to move up from the south.
Good chance of another wave of showers this evening for the southern interior, but by Tues we should start to see more sun.
