Drying trend is still on track for this weekend for the Southern Interior. However, our stubborn, cool, moist Southwesterly Flow that brought showers yesterday evening, will keep us under a mostly cloudy sky for the next few days. A dry finger of air in this flow will help provide some sunny breaks today.
Upper Low off the BC Coast will tighten over the next couple of days and make a move south. Once it does, it too will get caught up in our SWly flow and bring the threat of rain for Southern BC Thurs night into Fri. This will be the necessary movement in our weather pattern to help dry things out for the long weekend.
