Never trust a NW flow...

A quick look at the 500mb chart shows the nice ridge to the south that will continue to help stabilize weather in southern BC for next couple of days. Expect lots of sunshine and temperatures to continue to be slightly above seasonal averages.

Of note as well is the broad trough of cooler air over central Canada. It's the stronger upper winds over the crest of this ridge and down the westerly side of that trough, that will keep areas to the east, along the Rockies in an untrustworthy North Westerly flow. Expect afternoon Thunderstorm development again this afternoon, in areas beneath these upper winds. 

Strongest possibilities are again for the far North East; Fort Nelson, Ft, St, John and south to Prince George. However, can't rule out the possibility for areas in the South East either. Never trust a North Westerly Flow ...
