A weak trough embedded in the flow around that Low off the coast of Oregon is kicking up some morning showers and isolated weak Thundershowers. These showers are visible on the Satellite image but so some is some clearing, behind them to the south.
It'll be nice to see some sunshine however, that will add the the ingredient that these morning showers don't have to really get them going; convective heating.
Once again today be sky aware as Thunderstorms will develop through much of Southern BC this afternoon. Watches are in place for most regions.
After today we are still on the lookout for eastward movement of that Low Thursday into Friday morning. This shift will bring a good, solid rainfall to southern BC which may reach warning criteria for the region.
Long range for Sunday and beyond for a couple of days looks good.
