Bye Bye Fog

For over the past week under this strong upper ridge, Vancouver airport has started the day with fog.

Although there is a weak upper low sitting right above Vancouver Island today, there won't be much of a noticeable change with this system.

The pattern will finally change this weekend when the temperature inversion breaks down thanks to a northerly flow that will advect cooler and drier conditions as an upper trough moves through the area Sunday.

Expect brighter conditions on Monday, and by midweek we will be back to a more typical Fall pattern with systems moving in from the west.
