Short term: After a very wet and cooler than average day around the South Coast, weather conditions will gradually get drier and warmer over the next couple of days. However, this will be a slow process and showers will linger until the current slow-moving system moves to the East. Here is a look at the next 48 hours, there will be breaks in between the showers late Tuesday and Wednesday morning, however clouds return by midday Wednesday.
Long term: Models are still not in agreement about next weekend. Below is the model forecasts for early Saturday morning. The upper trough is still in existence and will keep cool and possibly unsettled weather in the forecast, but there is also the lack of any significant surface features over the coastal sections.
