Riding on the highs and lows...

An Onshore Flow around a Surface Low located to the North West of Vancouver Island will keep the chance of showers in our forecast for the South Coast today, but drier weather is on the way.

Stability (read: dry sunny weather) provided by a weak Upper Ridge that builds in Friday evening will be short lived as it's collapse on Sunday will bring a risk of showers back into the forecast.

Nothing major this weekend: Mix of sun and cloud with a risk of showers late Saturday into Sunday morning.

At this point, the long range forecast into the next work week looks quite pleasant thanks to a much stronger ridge that will build in late Sunday / early Monday.
