Bands of showers are moving across the South Coast radar this morning, but these showers will fizzle as a weak little ridge builds in to help the weather dry out for the weekend. We will start to see the clouds break this afternoon, and the sun will stick around on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be seasonal today but a little bit warmer for the weekend around the Lower Mainland, especially inland sections. The North Coast will also gradually clear up today with a drier flow in place and the offshore flow will help warm temps up in this region above seasonal on Sunday. Looking ahead, the next system moves in on Monday bringing a slight chance of showers for the first couple days of the work week to the South and Central coasts.
