The wait will be worth it...

More showers for the South Coast this morning but just keep your eyes on the prize.  An upper low combined with a surface low over the pacific has generated a frontal band that will move across the Lower Mainland Thursday, keeping wet conditions in the short term forecast. However, models are still in agreement that an upper ridge building in from the South will bring sun and warmth to the southern half of the province for the Canada Day long weekend.

Looking ahead... (And we don't usually rely on ultra long range forecasts...but...) In a week, there is the possibility that Metro Vancouver could see near record high temps.
