Happy Canada Day! A warm and sunny Monday for the Southern half of BC and Metro Vancouver will be no exception. Temperatures for the Lower Mainland will be in the upper 20's to mid 30's once again today. We had a couple of records broken around the South Coast yesterday including Squamish at 34C and Abbotsford at 33C. The North Coast however will continue to see a chance of showers as an upper level ridge over the province is just too far to the Southeast to keep the bands of clouds and showers away from your region. As this ridge collapses and shifts to the East over the next day or so, the South Coast will return to a westerly flow and will bring temperatures back down to seasonal.
