Typical Low over gulf of Alaska with well defined Cold Front will bring rain and breezy conditions to the North Coast today . By this evening, front will have passed over Haida Gwaii and by Tuesday morning, the northern tip of Vancouver Island. Rain will taper to showers however, a second, similar system is lining up to continue the inclement weather for Wednesday into Thursday.
Much sunnier short term forecast for the South Coast. A nice little Ridge of High Pressure will inhibit the development of any precipitation until it gives way Thursday to an Upper Trough (see 2nd system above for North Coast). Expect sunny, warm conditions with morning and afternoon cloud Monday / Tuesday with increasing cloud Wednesday when Mother Nature will water your lawn for you on Thursday.
