Duane and I had our alarm set and was all ready to go to Toronto today... but many flights going to and from Toronto were cancelled. You never know what Mother Nature has in store for you. She decided to flood Toronto with their rainiest day on record ( 126mm ), breaking its previous single-day record of 121.4 mm set in 1954 during Hurricane Hazel.
Back here in BC - an upper level ridge weather will keep conditions warm and sunny for the South Coast and the Southern Interior, however a broad upper level trough moves into most of BC on Thursday bringing a slight chance of showers. The North Coast will see frontal systems continue to move in bringing rain, especially to the coastal sections.
