Good Monday morning.
Infrared Satellite Images from the last 5 hours show the stubborn Upper Low that has been the cause of a weekend full of moisture, instability and thunderstorms, is slowly but surely tracking north westward up the coast. A shift from our current southerly to a more south westerly flow aloft will help dry things out a bit as this low meanders up the coast. Expect partial clearing along the south coast this afternoon, while the central coast and Vancouver Island will see continued rain with the continued risk of a thunderstorm.
Generally the outlook for the south coast this week will be partially sunny skies with seasonal temps until Wed evening into Thurs when a cold front will bring the next wave of rain.
