First day of school... and the kids might need their umbrellas. A disturbance associated with the low that continues to circulate off the Washington coast will bring a moist southerly flow with showers to the South Coast this morning. As this low continues to stall over the Pacific, bands of clouds and the occasional shower will move through over the next few days. Models continue to indicate a drier trend this afternoon and tomorrow morning, although showers are expected to return by tomorrow afternoon. On Thursday, the low slowly moves inland but it will take till the weekend for the low to exit the area. So this unsettled showery weather pattern is likely to stick around until at least Saturday. Daily high temperatures from now until the weekend will be within a couple degrees of our seasonal average of 20C.
