As expected - today is a bit drier with just a slight chance of showers for the South Coast area. However the moist airmass is still in place and the Lower Mainland areas that are near the mountains will also see the risk of a thundershower today. Models are still in agreement that the low off the Washington/Oregon coast will start to move inland by tomorrow, and this weather pattern will keep showers in the forecast for the South Coast late Thursday and into Friday. Because of the position of the low, the eastern parts of the South Coast will see the highest amounts of rain, with many parts of Vancouver Island staying much drier. Once the low exits the region on Saturday, we will start to see a widespread drying/warming trend as an upper ridge builds in late Saturday.
