Getting close to the weekend AND getting close to a more stable weather pattern. Had some thunderstorms in parts of the Fraser Valley last night, and this morning there is also some thunder and lightning in the Victoria area. This stormy and unstable weather pattern will give way to a much drier weather pattern by late Saturday.
With this said - parts of the South Coast won't see too much shower activity at all today and tomorrow. The further north and west you are in the region, the smaller chance of a shower, however areas on the southern tip of Vancouver, and parts of the Fraser Valley will see a bigger chance of showers due to the position of the low. Once this low moves east and exits the area late Saturday, a sunnier weather pattern will be in place for all areas across the South Coast by Sunday as an upper ridge builds in early next week.
