Weather forecast update at 4pm:

A warm southwesterly flow hitting BC brought temperatures well above seasonal Tuesday, and a number of records highs were broken across the province.

A pocket of cooler air moves in aloft Wednesday, bringing us more cloud in the morning but some areas will see sunny breaks again Wednesday afternoon. This will also be accompanied by a small threat of showers, mostly for the mountains.

High pressure rebounds on Thursday. Expect a mix of sun and cloud with the risk of morning fog for valleys and for areas over bodies of water.

Wednesday’s daytime high range:  9 to 15C
