Weather forecast update at 5pm:

Welcome to your weekend! We have one more day of valley cloud on Saturday, and then we have a change for next week.

The upper ridge that has been over our region for the past several days will flatten on Sunday, helping to erode the valley cloud. We will switch to a northerly flow aloft that will bring cool temperatures back into the area next week with brighter conditions.

This weekend’s daytime high range: -1 to 4 on Saturday and 0 to +7 on Sunday

Weather forecast update at 4pm:

A stagnant weather pattern with very little change is expected over the next few days. Daytime temperatures will remain within a few degrees of freezing.

An upper ridge is moving over BC, bringing stability, however low valley cloud is a big risk when we see this type of a weather pattern at this time of year.

We are uncertain about the possibility of afternoon clearing, although there is a higher chance of partial clearing in the South Okanagan and Boundary regions.

Tuesday’s daytime high range:  -1 to +4

Weather forecast update at 5pm:
Very little change will happen weather-wise over the next few days.

A stagnant weather pattern will set up as an upper ridge will build into our province.

A temperature inversion will gradually set up as milder air moves in at the upper levels. Expect valley cloud, especially in the morning hours. Fingers crossed for afternoon sunny breaks!

Tuesday’s daytime high range: -1 to +5C
