While some people swear by the farmer’s almanac, it is impossible to know what the weather will be like next month or next year. Most of the time, meteorologists have only low to moderate confidence on what will happen next week, let alone what will happen next month or year! This is especially true during shoulder seasons when weather can be very changeable!

Yes - seasonal forecasts exist, but they predict more of a trend and it is IMPOSSIBLE to pinpoint when or where it will rain or snow on long range forecasts.
